Welcome to the HQ of the St. Mary’s Bay Camera Club.

Constructed in 1995 and extend in 1998 the St. Mary’s Bay Village Hall has been the centre point of the surrounding area since its construction. Located just a few hundred metres from the sandy beach of St. Mary's Bay and the A259 coast road this attractive modern building stands in its own grounds with car parking virtually outside the door and offers some of the best facilities of its kind on the Romney Marsh. The present building is the result of many years of fund raising activities carried out by a large number of local people who have given their time and support to this project over the years.

Car parking at the St. Mary's Bay Village Hall is just outside the door.

This is a view of the back of the building; a close inspection reveals not one but three halls of varying size, known as the Committee Room, Main Hall, and Annexe. Each of the three halls is fully equipped with their own kitchen and toilet facilities and proves a tailor made solution to the needs of the St. Mary’s Bay Camera Club.

If you would like to come along and spend a Wednesday evening with us this is the door to look for. This is the smallest of the three halls known as the Committee Room and we meet here on most Wednesday evenings from mid September until mid May from about 7.30pm onwards. See our programme page for further details.

The Committe Room is an ideal place to meet on a cold winters evening and includes a fitted projector screen and store for our various items of equipment and club library.

This is the Annexe which is the second largest of the three halls and located at the far end of the building. We normally meet here for our studio group evenings which are held on various other evenings throughout the season.

Another view of the Annexe this time looking from the other direction. The Annexe can be incorporated into the Main Hall via doors for large functions.

Finally the Main Hall and kitchen area. This hall is equiped with a stage and sound system and is used by us mainly for studio group meetings and when hosting all types of events and competitions when photographers from camera clubs throughout Kent and East Sussex (and even further afield sometimes) come and spend a day with us here at St. Mary's Bay.
